Hako, for a clean future
Hako has been committed to environmental issues for many years, from saving resources to using sustainable materials. We have been certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001 since 2004. What we have achieved so far, however, we only take as the basis for further advances. We consider environmental aspects already when developing new machines in order to keep generating innovative ideas in terms of environmental protection and incorporate them into our products. The fact that most of these ideas additionally increase our products’ profitability is a welcome side effect and signifies our mission. Our Municipal Technology product programme is one good example.
Hako-LowNoise
The economic low-noise diesel engines allow driving even in environmental zones. Hako’s outdoor cleaning machines with optional insulation can even be employed at night outside the time restrictions imposed by the German Machine Noise Prevention Regulations – even in noise-sensitive areas.
Hako-CleanAir and emission standard Euro VI
The diesel engines are equipped with drives with low CO2 emissions, catalytic converters and particle filters, ensuring clean air and low emission levels at the job site. The Multicar M31 is equipped with an FPT large-series turbo diesel engine and fully complies with the Euro VI emission standard. The SCRT exhaust air purification system with 3 catalytic converters and particle filter provides optimal reduction of emissions without unpleasant smells. Nitrogen emissions are reduced by over 90 % and particle emissions are reduced by over 95 %.
Hako-BioOil
Hako-BioOil high performance lubricants are the environmentally friendly and technically equivalent alternative to mineral-oil-based lubricants, however, Hako-BioOil additionally scores with its ready biodegradability.
